Please join and and I by coloring your first completed page in an untouched book. The book measures approximately 29.5 cm x 21 cm and is slightly heavier than I would prefer for commuting.Įnjoy the video review of the Zen Colouring Collection The images are all full page and you will find florals, abstracts, hearts and so on to color. There are also some lovely colored images on the inner front and back cover to give you inspiration with your coloring. The Zen Colouring Patterns has a wide range of patterns for you to color in. This can be a good thing because it allows you to practice techniques with a wide variety of illustrations rather than lock yourself into very detailed works of art. This is probably because they are mass produced with computer generated images rather than the artisian touch. I do find with magazines that a lot of images have an element of “sameness” about them. Ordering online can be expensive with shipping costs so magazines are often a good budget alternative that have a wide range of images. In Australia, the cost of coloring books is quite high in comparison to other countries and the range that the bookshops have is limited. In Australia, I find that I can obtain a magazine at the newsagent or supermarket easily. The other thing I like about magazines for coloring is that they are widely available and cost less than most books. I will often use coloring magazines to practice techniques and test out different mediums before taking on one of my books. However, I do find art therapy magazines useful because they allow me to practice my coloring, without fear that I will ruin a treasured coloring book. It is no secret that I treasure my coloring books more than my colouring book magazines. Zen Colouring Patterns – Adult Colouring Magazine Review
